Evernote has announced that it will discontinue its note-taking application for BlackBerry and Windows Phone on June 29, 2017. The client will be pulled from the BlackBerry App World and Windows Phone Store, and consequently won’t receive any future maintenance updates.
“As a company, we’re also trying to get better at staying focused. This means spending more of our time and resources on developing our core note-taking products, Evernote Web, Evernote for Android; Windows; Mac; and iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch,” explains Evernote in a post on its official blog.
If you’re a frequent Evernote user and your smartphone of choice is a BlackBerry or Windows Phone, you’ll need to open the application to sync all of your notes to the cloud. Once you’ve done that, you’ll be able to access them using any of the platforms listed above.
